ominican University's 58th annual Commencement was held at the听Westchester County Center听on Sunday, May 22, 2016. The Commencement Address was delivered by Sr. Catherine Howard, O.P., PhD., President of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt.听听 Sr. Catherine was also awarded 听the degree of Doctor听of Humanities,听honoris causa.听听 Liliana Lopez, FNP, DNP, a听nurse practitioner who established a primary health care practice to serve the Spanish-speaking community of Rockland County also received an honorary degree.听 Welles Remy Crowther received the Veritas Medal, 听in memoriam,听and听Michelle Krupna-Gaylord, PhD.听'07 was named the Badami Outstanding Alumnus. 听 Congratulations to the Class of 2016!
