What is the format for the Online Programs?
Within our Online Programs, courses are offered strictly online with no need to attend the campus for class related issues. Our Online Programs are offered in听six accelerated sessions听per year which run听every eight weeks, as opposed to our traditional programs which run in two 16 week semesters per year. Students can enroll in up to three courses (nine credits) per session equaling 18 courses (54 credits) per year. To view our session start dates and course schedules click听
Am I able to visit 星空传媒 and am I allowed access to the campus?
Yes. Our online students are welcome to use ALL of our听 including

Our Online students are also allowed access to our

All of which offer convenient, free parking.
We are happy to schedule a convenient time for you to visit 星空传媒. Tours are usually given weekdays and some Saturdays, by appointment. Also, you can attend our Fall and Spring Info Sessions for Undergraduate Adults.
How quickly can I complete my four year degree online at 星空传媒?
Four year programs are comprised of about 120 credits. At 星空传媒 a maximum of 70 credits are transferable from a two-year institution and a maximum of 90 credits are transferrable from a four-year institution. You can complete up to 36 credits in one year through our Accelerated Online Program here at 星空传媒 and a minimum of 30 credits must be completed at 星空传媒 in order for a degree to be awarded.听
Do I need to take placements exams as an Online Student?
Yes. ALL students are required to complete the English placement exam. The Math placement exam must be completed if it is required by your program. Placement Exams are also available through our internet based option. To find out more about how to take you placement exam online please contact our Academic Success Center at 845.848.4056.
Is Financial Aid available?

Do you offer Housing for online students?
No.
How do I begin the Application Process for Online Programs at 星空传媒?
The process for applying to our Online Program is very easy. Your first step is to fill out and submit an听.Your next step is to request Official Transcripts from all schools previously attended. Have them sent to 星空传媒 Attention: Office of Admissions. You will then need to fill out a FAFSA form by visiting to apply for Financial Aid. Your final step is to simply wait for a letter regarding your acceptance at which point you will hear from your Online Advisor, Dr. AnnMarie DiSiena, in regards to registering for classes. How do I know when my application is complete?
Our Online Admissions Counselor will be in touch with you early in the admissions & enrollment process. Students are contacted by e-mail and telephone. We will let you know as soon as your file is complete. You can also check your status on the DC Portal using your 星空传媒 ID number.

What is the history of the University?
星空传媒 was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt in 1952. We have grown to offer over 30 undergraduate and graduate programs and a doctoral program.
