The DUNY Card is a multipurpose ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ ID card that identifies you as a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ student. You will also use your DUNY Card to

• Pay for food in the campus dining halls, vending machines, and participating offsite vendors
• Enter University buildings, such as the Hennessy Fitness center, or to gain admittance to certain University events.
• Check out books from the Sullivan Library.
• Pay for printing and copying in the computer labs.

ACTIVATING YOUR DUNY ID CARD

To expedite the process and have your ID ready when you arrive on campus, please submit a photo and a copy of your government-issued ID to 1CardSupport@DUNY.EDU

Acceptable forms of government issued-identification include:

• Driver’s license
• U.S. or foreign passport
• Military ID
• INS I-551 Resident Alien Card

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

Please make sure that your photo adheres to the following requirements:

• No other people or objects in photo
• Solid color background (white is best)
• Color Photo
• Cropped from just above the top of head to shoulders.
• Looking straight at the camera (no side profiles)
• No hats, masks or sunglasses

CARD USE AT OFFSITE LOCATIONS

Many offsite community businesses accept Dominican Dollars as payment for goods and services. All of the participating vendors are located within a half mile of our campus. Students may purchase healthcare items and prescriptions at CVS in Orangeburg, or swing by Amante Salon & Barbershop in Blauvelt for a haircut. Our Town Car Wash takes Dominican Dollars, which comes in handy if you need an oil change or need your NY State Inspection done.
